"Pete Daily was one of the finest presenters of American Chicago Dixieland Jazz in the world. His fame as a musician should have been greater, but he was beloved by many loyal followers, mainly in the area of Los Angeles, California.. He recorded this fine album following his service in World War II, followed by several others on labels such as Capitol, Decca, and Jazz Man Records. His live performances were always a delight to see and hear, and critics loved Pete and the sound of his golden cornet. He was one in a million. A great man."
