Surgical Saw

Description:

William R. Goulding (b. 1805) was an Englishman who arrived in New York in 1831, set up shop as a surgical instrument maker, and travelled to California in 1849. This surgical saw has a steel blade, ornate brass handle, and “W. R. Goulding & Co. / New-York” inscription.
