X-Ray Tube


Two electrode cold cathode x-ray tube, with a side tube filled with a powder probably used for gas regulation. An inscription reads “Gundelach / Made in Germany / C. W. & R. M. Bowen Co. / Providence, R. I.” USP No. 807673, DRP No. 169566, and GRP No. 103100. The Bowen firm was incorporated in 1902, with the purpose of making, buying and selling electrotherapeutic and x-ray equipment.
