Cold cathode glass x-ray tube with gas auto regulation (probably asbestos), and “MACALASTER, WIGGIN CO. / CHICAGO, ILL. / TUNGSTEN TARGET / 72407” inscriptions. The Macalaster, Wiggin Co. was established in Boston in 1898, and acquired a second facility in Chicago in 1910
