Geometrical Model by F. Townsend, a Student of A. Harry Wheeler, Regular Octahedron with Concentric Cube


Eight threaded needles bisect four edges of this tan paper model of a regular octahedron. When the needles are properly adjusted, the threads form the skeleton of a cube that circumscribes the octahedron.
