Description:

Herman Livingston Collyer (1857-1923), a New York gynecologist, introduced this type of pelvimenter in 1894. The “P.S.M.CO.” inscription probably refers to the Penn Surgical Manufacturing Co. of Philadelphia, a firm founded in 1906.
