Description:

The obverse of this gold medal has “SISSILUM ACADEMIAE TERRAE MARIAE.” The reverse has “UNIVERSITY PRIZEMAN MEDICAL MEDAL” and “AWARDED / TO / NATHAN WINSLOW / 1901.” Nathan Winslow (1878-1937) graduated from and taught surgery at the University of Maryland Medical School.
