A H Straus & Co. printed silk charmeuse fabric length; 1915. A lining silk, thin and smooth: "The Suffrage Victory" commemorative charmeuse satin, printed with a copyrighted design of the suffrage colors, yellow in combination with black, white, purplish-gray, and brown in small solid checks.3.5 checks per inch with a three inch repeat. Edges are frayed. Print continues onto selvedge edge. Cylinder printed.

A. H. Straus and Co. was active in the 1910s and 1920s. The company was based in New York City and was a premier importer and manufacturer of printed silks.
