Description:

Polychrome- and gold-painted bisque figurine of a fair-skinned woman with powdered hair or white wig in 18th-century-style dress standing against a tree stump on a circular, floral-banded base. She wears a pink polonaise-type gown with blue corseted bodice, white sleeve ruffles, yellow skirt ruffle, and pale blue petticoat with white stockings and blue shoes; a blue bow at the neckline and blue-outlined white bow at the waist. Right index finger and left arm missing. Blue-painted mark of "G" superimposed on an H-like figure below incised letters "WO(?)J" on bottom underside.
