Macaroni & Cheese box, Democratic National Convention, 1996


This box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese with donkey and star-shaped pasta was a promotional souvenir at the 1996 Democratic National Convention which nominated President Bill Clinton for re-election. A similar product with elephants in place of donkeys was available at the Republican National Convention that year. Clinton defeated his Republican challenger Bob Dole, senator from Kansas.
