Description:

This ruled surface has a wooden frame painted black. It has a curved top and bottom, both with loops. One side of the frame is vertical, the other two curved. The surface is ruled in yellow threads. Two tangent lines, one in pink and one in blue, stretch from the top loop to the bottom loop. Both lines lie entirely on the surface.

The model has no maker's marks, but the style is that of Richard P. Baker of the University of Iowa.
