Stein Square Piano

Description (Brief):

This square piano was made by André Stein in Vienna, Austria around 1835. Stein achieved the title “Hof-Klaviermacher” (Court Pianomaker) in his adopted country of Austria. The piano was made in the later years of Stein’s career. This piano has a compass of FF-f4, Viennese action, leather (?) hammers, brass and iron strings, 2 pedals: moderator and dampers, wood frame, and a crotch mahogany case.
