Union Centrale des Beaux-Arts Appliqués a l'Industrie Exposition de 1865

Description (Brief):

Stereoview of photographer alongside his exhibition booth. The man wears a knee-length coat and trousers. One leg is propped up on a step as he writes something down on paper. He stands in profile so one cannot see his face clearly. However, there is a sculptural bust portrait of this man a few steps away from him. In the booth there are various plaster casts of antique sculptures as well as some medals and samples of his gem portraits and larger images. A young girl in full skirt and sweater sits near the booth. Behind her, a man plays an organ designed to look like a gothic cathedral. In the top section of the building, hundreds of designs hang on the walls.
