Book, 100 Great Problems of Elementary Mathematics: Their History and Solution


This is a book by Heinrich Dorrie, translated by David Antin. It is the Dover edition published in New York in 1965. The copy comes from the library of the artist David Crockett Johnson. Crockett Johnson may have used six figures from this book as the basis of mathematical paintings in the Smithsonian collections.
