Tony Taylor

Tony Taylor was one of many players featured on collectible coins made by Topps and included in packs of baseball cards. Taylor was a versatile infielder, rotating between first, second, and third base throughout his career. He played for the Cubs (1958-60), Phillies (1960-71), and Tigers (1971-76). He was on the National League All-Star team for both games in 1960. In 2002, Taylor was inducted into the Phillies Wall of Fame. After retiring as a player, Taylor coached for many years for the Phillies, Giants, and Marlins. His final coaching season was in 2004.
