Rasp

Description:

Steel rasp with “PADGETT / K.C. MO.” and “P1458” inscriptions, from the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Georgetown University Medical Center. The form was associated with Earl Calvin Padgett (1893–1946), a graduate of the Washington University Medical School in St. Louis who became Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Kansas Hospitals and Clinical Professor of Oral Surgery at the University of Kansas City School of Dentistry. Padgett Instruments was established in 1937, and acquired by Integra Life Sciences in 2002.
