Bottle of Wine

Description:

Despite what it looks like, this is NOT an old bottle of Shop-Rite Cherry Soda! This bottle contains one of Francesco Lee’s last vintages of homemade wine. His family believes it was made around 1964. Lee typically reused soda and wine bottles for his homemade wine. According to John Lee, Francesco Lee’s grandson, it was up to his grandfather to determine when his homemade wine was ready for consumption. If the wine had turned to vinegar they used it for dressing salads; otherwise, it was consumed at daily meals and for special celebrations.
