George T. Price served with the 1st Delaware Volunteers. At the start of the war, Price was a sergeant with Company G, but was promoted to second lieutenant of Company A on March 3, 1863. Soon after, he was promoted to first lieutenant on July 3, 1863. On November 6, 1863, Price was made captain of Company C. He was discharged May 15, 1865.
