Alvin Jackson


Alvin Al Jackson was one of many players featured on collectible coins made by Topps and included in packs of baseball cards.

A left handed pitcher from Waco Texas, Al Jackson played Major League Baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1959, 1961,) New York Mets (1962-1965, 1968-1969,) St. Louis Cardinals (1966-1967,) and Cincinnati Reds (1969.)

Jackson had a career 67-99 win-loss record, with a 3.98 earned run average and 738 strikeouts, winning a World Series as a member of the Cardinals in 1967.
