Andiron

Description:

Figural andiron featuring the head and torso of a woman wearing only a belted, short skirt scrolled at its sides; her hair is close cropped at front with curled locks on her shoulders. Plain, arched and squared cabriole legs end in square feet on platforms. Cast billet bar fused into cast upright. No marks. One of a pair, 1982.0090.67A-B.
