Five colored lenses, four of which have a paper label that reads “TITMUS / CONTRA-GLARE.” The inscription on the cardboard box reads “TITMUS OPTICAL CO., INC. / PETERSBURG, VA.” Contra-Glare sunglasses were on the market by the mid-1940s.
