Description:

An inscription on the face of this instrument reads “DIOMETER / LENS MEASURE / AOLITE GLASS / AMERICAN OPTICAL / CORPORATION / SOUTHBRIDGE, MASS. 01550.” Bausch & Lomb introduced Aolite plastic lenses in 1958.
