The Pride and the Passion


Part of the Dell “Movie Classics" series, this comic book is an adaptation of the 1957 film The Pride and the Passion. Directed by Stanley Kramer, the movie is set during the Napoleonic wars in Spain and stars Carey Grant, Sophia Loren, and Frank Sinatra. It’s plot was based on the 1933 novel, “The Gun”, written by C.S. Forester.

Sinatra, in the character of "Miguel," is featured prominently on the comic;s cover. Grant is featured in an insert.
