This is a color postcard that has been addressed and mailed. The image depicts a white donkey/burro with grey spots underneath a darkcloth behind a camera mounted on a tripod, while a boy wearing a hat and a red shirt with overalls poses in front of the camera with a dark grey or brown donkey/burro.

The back of the postcard contains a partially illegible post mark, and a postage cancellation mark across a green one cent postage stamp. The postcard is addressed to George B. Cannor (?) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
