Gregorian reflecting telescope with a speculum metal mirror 3¾ inches diameter. The rod that runs along the tube serves to adjust the smaller secondary mirror. The “T. Blunt, London” inscription refers to Thomas Blunt, an instrument maker who worked on his own from 1794 to 1823, or to his son of the same name, who worked for a year or two later.
