Ice Dish


Double-bellied circular bowl on an ogee-domed pedestal base fitted with a removable, pierced, hemispherical liner with 18 holes arranged into two concentric circles around one at center. Flat-chased and repousse decoration on upper half of bowl features an opposed C-scroll reserve from which bands of flowers and leaves extend to the opposite side. Die-rolled bands of oval bosses and bellflowers at rim of bowl and edge of circular foot. No marks. Centerpunch on underside of bowl.
