Description:

Small, plain, conical vase with plain galleried rim on pedestal base with baluster stem and stepped circular foot. Underside of base struck with two incuse marks, a circle containing "PHILA. PL[ATE CO.] (arched) / EXTRA / PLATE" and "2399", all in serif letters.

Maker is Philadelphia Plate Co. of Philadelphia, PA; in business, circa 1890.
