Bell

Description:

Handheld bell with an inverted baluster handle on spool base topped by an acorn finial and a plain body with triple-stepped flared lip. Flattened ball-shaped clapper hangs from three S hooks, one large and two small. Inside of body is struck once near lip "JOHN / BURT" in raised slanted serif letters in a rounded-corner rectangle, possibly overstruck at right.
