Puritan type rattail spoon with deep circular bowl and straight handle, roughly rectangular in section with squared end. Face of bowl is struck with an eight-petaled flower or rosette motif below juncture with handle. Back of terminal struck once with a pointed shield containing a standing figure holding something up in their hand. File marks on handle sides suggest it might have originally been hexagonal in section.
