Puritan type rattail spoon with large round oval bowl and straight handle, rectangular in section with thinner flared end. Front is chamfered at juncture of handle to bowl and is struck once on face bowl with a pointed-shield shape mark possibly containing the raised numerals "66". Back is stamped "E M" in incuse serif letters on terminal and struck three times with an indecipherable sawtooth-edged mark.
