Tea Steeper

Description:

Short, cylindrical, wire-rimmed vessel with a low-domed, flared-edge, hinged lid topped by a small scroll at front of rim. Tapered, D- or ear-shaped, wire-edged strap handle is soft-soldered to the body at its vertical, folded seam. Inset spout with plain-edged, U-shaped lip is also soft-soldered in place. Body perforated at spout. Flat bottom with folded edge. No marks. Interior stained.
