Cigarette Case


Relief-engraved, rectangular cigarette case with an inset, snap-closure, hinged lid, rounded long sides, and a built-in matchsafe with hinged strike plate at one flat end ; "КАВКАЗЪ" appears in large Cyrillic letters across the opposite end. Overall foliate scroll decoration features a medallion with eight pointed petals on lid, another with six pointed petals on bottom, and bands of intertwined leafy vines around one end and along sides; double-beaded borders. No marks.
