Description:

Wrought iron trammel. Two interlocked hooks, hung from a lug pole, allow a pot to be lowered or raised above an open fire. Flattened shaft with five circular holes terminating in outturned scrolled hook. Upper hook is inserted into shaft to adjust height above the fire. No mark.
