Description:

Wrought iron clips or catches, used to hold ornament or decoration in place. Flat bar with two parallel tapered points. No mark. According to the donor they were used in the High Altar Gates of the Washington Cathedral. See DL*72.0034.

Maker is the Keyser Brothers, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1928-1971.
