Description (Brief):

Black & white print; oval half length portrait of a man (Alex Wilson) seated, holding the barrel of a gun and a rolled up piece of paper. Below the print is what appears to be a facsimilie of quote from a journal/diary dated 1804 and a copy of letter with his signature dated 1812. The quotes indicate his interest in collecting birds and publishing an orninthology.
