Description (Brief):

Black and white print on blue paper of two views in the California mine fields. The upper view depicts three men around a table weighing gold in a balance scale. The lower view depicts a man sleeping on the ground with a rifle beside him. Small images above him show his dreams. The images are on the front of a folded four page letter sheet. The letter inside from a miner to his brother is dated May 21, 1850.
