Description:

n 1975, Texas Instruments gave the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History several integrated circuits manufactured at the time, as well as a prototype eletronic calculator and several wafers with integrated circuits. This is one of the integrated circuits. It has a black plastic case and 40 metal prongs, 20 along each edge. It is marked on top with the TI logo, as well as: TMS 0301 NC (/) 7425. It is marked on the bottom: D 0301.

Ten chips, with museum numbers 336009 through 336018, are stored in a single clear plastic case.
