A white man, Color Sergeant Daughtery has brown hair and blue eyes. He is wearing a olive drab tunic holding an M1917 steel helmet. His tunic has two military ribbons pinned on his left chest: Philippine Campaign on the left, the right one being the Croix de Guerre (France). On the right arm, there are two upward chevrons with a star beneath it indicating his rank of Color Sergeant within the Army Aviation. On his left arm, there is a big red 1 indicating the first division as well as two yellow downward chevrons near the end of the sleeve indicating at least one year of oversea service. His signature is seen on the bottom of the protrait. The bottom corners experience some wear and tear.
