Dress gloves and leaflet from George Armstrong Custer's coat pocket

Description (Brief):

One pair of white dress gloves and a leaflet from the unveiling ceremony for the Detroit Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, found in George Armstrong Custer's frock coat pocket. The white cotton gloves and leaflet, dated April 9, 1872, were discovered by United States National Museum staff in Custer's coat after its accession to the museum's collection in 1912.
