Description:

Sample length of closely woven, plain weave, silk cloth with spun silk paired warps and silk noil wefts, used in World War I for powder bags for big guns. Unbleached, undyded. Quality B. Slightly heavier weight than T04161. Surplus sold by the Salvage Board for $1.13 per yard. This sample was not finished for garment trade use.
