1964 Topps coin featuring Jim Maloney (b. 1940.) Maloney was one of many players featured on collectible coins made by Topps and included in packs of baseball cards.
Jim Maloney pitched for the Cincinnati Reds (1960 - 1970) and California Angels (1971.) Known for his fastball, the right-hander had 1,605 strikeouts in eleven Major League seasons, compiling a 134-84 win-loss record.
An All-Star in 1965, Maloney threw two no-hitters as a Red (1963, 1966.)
