Collis Jones Basketball Card


This Collis Jones basketball card is number 43 in a series of 264 that was manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1972-1973 American Basketball Association season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Dallas Chaparrals forward on a green background. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Collis played in the shadow of Austin Carr at Notre Dame,” as well as a short biography and career statistics. Collis spent his entire four-year career in the ABA, playing for the Dallas Chaparrals, Kentucky Colonels, and Memphis Sounds.
