This sheet music is for the song “Bingen on the Rhine” that was written by Alfred Bryan and composed by Herman Paley. The sheet music was published by the Paley Music Company in 1914. The pale blue cover features a few different images of crests, with an inset illustration of a castle in the town of Bingen on the Rhine. The cover illustration was initialed by JH. This song was a ballad that told the story of a dying soldier recalling the life he left behind in Bingen on the Rhine.
