CBS Radio Theatre Ticket, Let's Pretend


Ticket for a broadcast of the Let's Pretend radio program, September 21st, 1946. The program was developed, produced and directed by Nila Mack (1891-1953) head of CBS 's Director of Children's Programming from 1930-1955.

The Let's Pretend program, promoted as radio's outstanding children's theater ran on CBS from 1934-1954. The show, in which child actors performed adapted fairy tales such as Cinderella, was sponsored throughout its run by Cream of Wheat cereal. Let's Pretend won a Peadbody award in 1943 for Outstanding Children's Program.
