This sheet music is for the song, “Dearie,” by Clare Kummer. It was published by Joseph W. Stern and Company in New York, New York in 1905.

”Dearie” was featured the musical, Sergeant Brue, with book by Owen Hall, music by Liza Lehman, and lyrics by Owen Hall and D. K. Stevens. Sergeant Brue opened on Broadway at the Knickerbocker Theatre on April 24, 1905, and moved to the Grand Opera House, where it closed in March 1906, for a total run of 101 performances. There are inset images on the sheet music cover of Clare Kummer composer, and Miss Sallie Fisher, who portrayed Aurora Brue in the show.
