Psychological Test, The Inglis Tests of English Vocabulary Form A

This folder contains the Inglis Tests of English Vocabulary (Form A). It was prepared by Alexander Inglis. The booklet is comprised of four double-sided booklets. The first page provides directions to the examiners. The second page contains a description of the test. According to the description, the test “is designed to measure the student’s knowledge of the Intelligent General Reader’s Vocabulary; that is, of those words which belong neither to our everyday vocabulary of commonest words, nor to special and technical vocabularies, but which constitute a large part of the educated person’s vocabulary.” The booklet also provides directions for scoring and a correction key as well as a class record.
