Psychological Tests with Letter, Stenquist Mechanical Aptitude Tests


This folder contains multiple documents relating to the Stenquist Mechanical Aptitude Tests.

1- Two copies of Test II. This was published by the World Book Company and copyrighted in 1921. It was written by J.L. Stenquist, the Bureau of Reference, Research, and Statistics, Department of Education, City of New York. The test contains multiple images of machines and instruments; therefore, this document is not only of interest to researchers of psychology and mental testing, but also those interested in machines and industry.

2-A letter from Dr. Grace Helen Kent to C.H. Stoelting Company dated May 26, 1923. It is in regards to changing the length of the belt in a question on the test. This suggestion was made by Dr. Stenquist. Dr. Kent advised against the addition of a longer belt to the test.
