Electromagnetic bell on mahogany base

Description (Brief):

Electro-magnetic Bell, on mahogany base. A 1909 list records this with other Joseph Henry apparatus. Two coiled electromagnets are mounted side-by-side horizontally on the base. An armature mounted between two adjustable posts includes the bell striker. The bell is mounted on a wooden saddle that spans the middle of the magnets. Two binding posts are opposite the armature to provide electrical connections. The wires are inlaid under the base.
