Description:

The “Leviton 6A-125V.3A-250 V und. Lab. Insp.” inscription on this electric sterilizer refers to the Leviton Manufacturing Co. Isidor Leviton (1886-1965) was a Jewish immigrant from Kiev who opened a tin smithing shop in Manhattan 1906, producing mantle tips for gas lighting. In time, the business grew and relocated to Rhode Island.
