First Aid Packet, U.S. Gov't, Carlisle Model

Description:

The Medical Department Equipment Laboratory was established at the Carlisle Barracks Military Reservation, in Pennsylvania, on October 1, 1920. And it introduced the Carlisle Model First-Aid Packet soon thereafter. An inscription on this example reads "FIRST AID PACKET, US GOVT / CARLISLE MODEL / WITH SULFANILAMIDE."
